Poetry is a great way to express one's feeling, thoughts and opinions especially when you feel that no one really understands your current situation. Considering I am currently in the love mode, if you have viewed my previous blog post, I thought I would share one of my favourite poems with you.
I carry your heart by EE Cummings
I carry your heart with me
(i carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear no fate
(for you are my fate,my sweet)
I want no world
(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

This poem means alot to me, as I feel the words are so simple yet say so much. When you have a special person in your life whether it be a love, parent or friend, you cherish your time with this person and create special memories and moments with him/her. This poem reminds me about the true essence of a relationship, a connection which can make each muscle in your body ease or contract.
