Two hands clap and there is a sound. What is the sound of one hand clapping?

Two hands come together, touch each other, clap together and there is a sound. A sound which represents praise,  recognition or approval,  a sound which can be powerful when a number of individuals clap together.

Is there a sound if one hand claps? One hand clapping, does it have an impact or is it an empty, meaningless sound which has no effect? The sound that comes from one hand clapping is small, vague, and grey with no power. Do you have moments in your life that deserve only a one handed clap? Moments that you are not proud of thus you wish that the impact is small, you wish to silence it if you can, take it back and relive the moment. The reality is we all have moments that deserve only a one handed clap or no clap at all. These experiences are ones which we are not proud of but hopefully we learn a valueable lesson from these experiences so that they do not repeat themselves.

  2. I enjoyed the angle that one hand clapping is praise even if small. In life and business we are but a number...easily replaced. But praises, even if small, is what we will be remembered for. A fire is lit from a small spark.
